The method
Three levels
- Recognise You hear the expression in the conversation and understand it.
- When asked You say it when the character asks you to.
- By yourself You use it without anyone asking. Only then does it count as ready.
Recasting
You say something the way you would say it today. The character answers you, and his answer contains the classical form. You do not have to repeat anything; you hear it, and next time you say it yourself.
لو سمحت يا أستاذ / حضرتك
أَصْلَحَ اللهُ الأَمِيرْ
May God set the prince right; a respectful opener before addressing a superior.
Smart repetition
After every call the system knows what you recognised, what you said when asked and what you used by yourself. The next call brings two new things and a few you were about to forget.
What it is not about
If you ask about the meaning of a verse, the character explains the word and the grammar, and tells you to ask a scholar for the interpretation of the verse (tafsir).
